CAT was introduced as a brand of CATerpillar in the 1950s and is now an iconic logo synonymous with high quality construction products and machinery. Used CAT forklifts have a wide range in load capacity from as little as 2,500 pounds to as much as 36,000 pounds. CAT lift trucks are available as internal combustion and pneumatic trucks, as well as electric counterbalanced cushion and pneumatic tire forklifts.

Used CAT forklifts are classified as electric counterbalanced lift trucks in Class I, internal combustion cushion tire forklifts in Class IV, internal combustion pneumatic tire forklifts in Class V, and hand pallet jacks. Electric counterbalanced forklifts have a lift capacity of 2,500 to 6,500 pounds. Internal combustion cushion tire forklifts have a lift capacity of 3,000 to 15,500 pounds. Internal combustion pneumatic tire forklifts have a lift capacity ranging from 3,000 to 36,000 pounds. Hand pallet jacks have an average lift capacity of 5,500 pounds.

CAT electric cushion tire lift trucks offer improved visibility, hydrostatic power steering, and full-suspension vinyl seats with more floor room to improve driver comfort. CAT LP gas cushion tire lift trucks are also equipped with improved visibility, more room for operator comfort, and a transmission interlock system to protect both operators and loads by disengaging steering when the driver leaves the seat of the vehicle.
