Heli Americas is based in Memphis, Tennessee, and began forklift production in 2007 to material handling dealers throughout the US. Heli has a smaller line of forklifts with varying lift capacities for use in both indoor and outdoor construction and manufacturing jobsites. Heli forklifts are primarily used in farmyards, factories, printing facilities, ports, construction yards, and warehouses. As of 2011, Heli plans to expand their line of forklifts by producing 120,000 forklifts per year to reach the goal of 1.8 billion dollars in revenue by 2015.
Used Heli forklifts are available as a cushion tire vehicle with a 4,000 to 5,000 pound lift capacity, a Class III electric walkie pallet with a 4,500 pound lift capacity, a Class V pneumatic tire vehicle with a 2,000 to 3,000 pound lift capacity, a Class IV cushion tire vehicle with a 4,000 to 7,000 pound lift capacity, a Class V pneumatic tire vehicle with a 4,000 to 7,000 pound lift capacity, a Class V pneumatic tire vehicle with an 8,000 to 10,000 pound lift capacity, and a larger Class V pneumatic tire vehicle with an 11,000 to 22,000 pound lift capacity.
Within the used Heli forklift line, duplex, triplex, and full free lift configurations are available to reach average lift heights of up to 6m.
